Caller asked me to confirm my name which was correct. He said he was from Aviva & started to ask about life insurance. I said I don t discuss things on the phone & he hung up.
Think this is a scam. 2 calls this morning on different nos, but the same recorded message and same female voice. My internet will be disconnected in the next 24-48 hours because of illegal activity. Press 1 to speak to someone and 2 to speak to someone else. Disconnected the call and will wait with interest to see what happens next! The other no, that called is 07722861301.
This Company called to question my working history. They said that a recent change in the UK legislation meant that many more workers were due to compensation for hearing issues. Tried to set up a meeting with me at the Kings Hotel for 4 March 2015 but I declined and simply asked them to send me their name & contact details and then I would contact them. This number calls my mobile at least twice daily every day which is extremely irritating; however I never answer and they never leave a voicemail.... I think if it was a genuine call they would leave a message.

Number has called twice today. Both times they rang off before I could answer.
Safe number Sky VIP. I ended up with a much better deal. The number 0800 862 0818 is genuine, but everyone should always consider if a number is spoofed - try to get them to tell you something about you that they know already. Eg if they ask for your email, tell them a fake one and see if they know it's fake. If they don't, they may not be genuine.

SCAM by recorded voice saying they were HM Revenue & Customs and a tax fraud had been reported. Say to press 1 to discuss with the officer. If I didn’t press a number to be connected I woukd soon be arrested. Obviously pressing any key will incur huge charges or they will try to get you to give personal information etc. My number is really private so I wonder just who sold it to these scammers?
