I got a missed call, rang straight back, and it said this number is no longer in use. Seems very dodgy to me.

Don t fall for this. It s a scam originating mainly in USA. They work from old shareholder registers (sometimes so old the holder has long since sold the shares anyway...

The Caller is Fast Track PPI Claims which is a Company involved in handling PPI Claims. They are genuine - I used a link on Facebook to their site to request a pack, which I got within a few days. They keep calling because I am yet to fill out the paper work (Decided to do it myself)

Accidentally clicked their ad when trying to find Direct Line on the net. Realised half way through completing their form so closed the browser. 10 mins later phone call received. I hadn t even pressed submit!! Anyway, number blocked, won t be bothered by these chancers again.

Looked like a London number so picked up as thought it was a work call. The caller, who insisted on calling me "luvvie", told me it was about the life policy on my house??!! Told her I wasn t interested, but have received another call this morning (ignored).

Somebody asking for me by name about insuranace. Asked how they got my detail and they said it was open data. Odd, as the number is with TPS. Reported to ICO for what it is worth as they have no right to call.

I only called "Studio" cards, as the online ordering is conveniently STILL stopping orders being placed using the website (the continue opetion after selecting payment option DOES NOT WORK. STUDIO website claims they only charge 13p/min and average call is 68p (maybe so IF you aren t kept ON HOLD for almost 7 mins - I didn t wait any longer just to be billed up to the eyeballs to place a phone because the website is deliberately blocked from working!).
