calling saying tax fraud

claim I completed an online survey (I haven t) trying to get me to sign up for PPI or accident claims and compensation, told them I m not interested and on TPS register. Requested them to remove me from their calling list (doubt they will as they are VERY persistant)

Left a message but could not understand what was said.

Had a cold calI from this number today. I answered the phone, could hear voices in the background. Nobody replied and the line went dead after about 30 seconds. I rang the number back and found out that it belongs to Logic Guard Insurance. I told them that I am registered with the TPS and asked them to take my number off their database. They have been ringing me for weeks and managed to ignore the number when it came up. They rang 7times on my landline yesterday. 3 times in the space of half an hour. My husband then answered it last night and woman said something about a survey and him getting voucher for petrol. i shouted him to hang up the phone...which he did. They haven t called back. I am now investing in a phone with call guard because I am absolutely SICK of being harassed by this number and similar annoying sales calls.

If you Google the number, it comes back to Brother. 0333 numbers are used in the UK and known as non-geographic but are (supposedly) cheaper than 08 and 09 numbers.
