Calling to confirm the delivery but tried to get into Domestic and General insurance cover without outright stating first off to ask if Insurance is required. Very polite and confirmed that I would NOT be signed up to an insurance plan. All the delivery bits were explained well, they re just doing a job, they should improve the initial wording a bit, probably why so many people are getting irate.

SCAM This is a call centre saying it is a courtesy call due to an appliances warrantee expiring, on this instance it was a washing machine, so quite believable. They wanted £65 per year for another 3 years full cover. Have been contacted by this company no less than 4 times a week for close to a month. They claim to be Caledonian gold. Selling shares in the ownership of the gold market. The refuse to take no for an answer. I have had three different males call me claiming the previous colleagues have moved on. They are intent on getting full personnel details over the phone and setting up an account in your name without cash in it. Do not answer or speak to these people they are pure scammers. !!!!!
Having several calls a day from this number. Have answered but no one speaks on the other end. It s getting very frustrating and I m unsure what the purpose of the call is.
Caller with indian accent gave a fake name and claimed to be calling from BT Broadband. He said there were hackers using my wifi according to messages on their server. He then tried to scare me in to giving him access to my computer. He was obviously trying to scam me as I don t have an account with BT. He hung up on me when I wouldn t let him access my computer.

Robotic-sounding guy claimed to be responding to reported housing issues. Failed to answer questions (I couldn't hear who he said he was, asked twice, no clear answer), but put me through to speak to an Asian sounding bloke who also didn't respond to me when I asked how exactly were my housing issues reported to them if I cannot remember speaking to anyone other than my landlord. Said that they help tenants in council accommodation or housing association tenants, which I am not. Phishing scam.
