SCAM - call regarding investment opportunities I had signed up for via a website. Except I have never given out my mobile number as it is only used as a emergency number for my elderly parents ( who don’t have internet connection) requested that the number is removed from their system. This is a number in Swansea used by TUI. I d called their usual Customer Service number regarding special assistance and this was the number they called me back on. Totally genuine.

Caller claimed to be from a government department in reference to an accident 18 months ago, and persisted even when I said our number was registered with the TPS. Fairly threatening, saying that if I didn t cooperate my son might be in trouble because his file would remain open .

SCAM / SPAM Recorded message saying that they are HMRC and that an arrest warrant would be issued if I didn’t press 1 to connect the call. HMRC WOULD NOT OPERATE IN THIS WAY. DO NOT PRESS 1!!!
SCAM: Another one of these recorded messages claiming to report problems with National Insurance number. Getting harassed by several different numbers / from different locations, all with same recorded message. In some cases have had up to 7 scam calls on same day.
