Go and learn about the Indian national industry on Youtube by watching Jim Browning, or Pierogi, or Scammer payback, then when you've gained some knowledge, tell all your friends and family in order to help them not lose money. Received call from this number with a recorded voice claiming to be from "bank fraud department" stating that large amount of money has been taken from my account. I have since checked the number and it appears to be a legitimate local school number. However, the received scam call was recorded on my phone as being from this number.

Mobile phone spam / scam / fraud. Scammers pretend to call from Currys Mobile department. They will sign you up on a completely different deal than agreed initially with the most expensive phone available. They use several phone numbers some of them on Whatsapp. Also will e-mail an order confirmation from an address that seems genuine. It's not. After receiving the parcel they will try to convince you to send the phone back to some shady residential address. Avoid!

Indian accent with British name stating he is calling from O2, then said he noticed I'm not O2 and asked how much I pay and said that he could give me a £6 per month deal. Then I said I'm on Pay as you go and only top-up £5 per year he called me a fool, said I was making him a fool and asked if I'm on my father or mother's company. I'm not even in the UK and my parents are retired... :D CLEAR SCAM but not so smart

Fraud SCAM Cold call. Indian voice asks you to give long card number as some payment at some time "did not go through". I remember no such occasion with an Indian agent, and if this does happen with any other, they immediately check and enter the card number again and it does go through. I said I can't just give my card number to an unknown caller for an unknown transaction, and the agent said he would get their lawyers to deal with me. I have blocked the number.
