It s quite easy to negate these types of calls by getting yourself a Call Line Identity phone. If the call doesn t display the name of someone in your tel address book, or shows number withheld, or out of area, or International let the answer machine do the work. You can then block the number or use phone settings to set your preferences - problem solved...

Claims to be from MBNA Card Fraud (Automated voice) Asks for a name that is not here and asks for them to call the same number that called us. Has called at least 4 times today. Not MBNA

No nonsense, they will only call if you have requested a inquiry.

Asked for me by name, I asked who was calling he said "come to my bed and I ll f&@k you"

Received a call from this number @ 08:09. It was an automated voice message claiming to be Rachel Todd from HMRC. She was threatening to sue if I did not call them back. I have now blocked their number.

This is one of those callers where there is no response except breathing (not heavy)!. Checking on-line I can find no exchange for 0208704

This is a debt collection company. Often long term or aging debt is sold and the purchasing collection agency makes profit by aggressively chasing that debt. They use any data they can get to bug you typically to begin with by using automated dialers and recorded style messages. They do not check the age of the data or if they do they ignore it. This company are based in Brighton and are trying to get you to make charitable donations to various charities.... As I already donate to a charity of my choice I do not wish to be bothered by these types of calls. I m also signed up with TPS so shouldn t get them anyway... I found their direct number which is 01273 698697 and asked them to remove both my numbers from their database... Lets see what happens...

These people whoever they are annoy me no end. You answer the call ... They hang up! I block the caller but they still come back using a different, although a similar number!

Call received from this number at 19.07 on Monday 15th October. When I answered, no-one spoke, there was a lot of background noise and voices and then "they" hung up!
