Claiming to be calling about my Virgin Media internet provider, I said I was not with Virgin and he immediately hung up. Virgin have told me it was a Scam call.
Constant calls asking for my departed wife. I have been telling them for over a year not to call but they will not leave me alone. This is very upsetting.

Said that they were calling from my local bank (didn't state which back) and wanted to know if they could help me with anything. After I said there was nothing I needed, we ended the call. The call just seemed a bit odd

It s an Umbrella Payroll Company for Contractors. I checked out their website as I m unhappy with my current one, and saw the missed call from them (this number), promptly followed by a text message. Googled the missed call number, saw the text 1min later and out 2+2 together.

My number is telephone preference system (TPS) and therefore this company - or any others like it - should not be calling - this was a 'fishing' call. Callers' name was 'Joe' - male, said he was 'an energy advisor'. End of call. Don't call again, Joe, you might get my husband next time and he is nowhere near as polite as I am.
Silent call, Had three calls from Northwich area with different numbers in two days. Left phone to answer, they don't leave a message but stay silent before hanging up.

I get at least 5 calls from them every day. They are really stubborn and they want to know every sell-able information about you. I have requested to them about 10 times that I am not interested, please opt me out, but they just don t give a damn about my privacy or respect my decision of not giving out the information I am not comfortable in giving!
