Asian Guy (David) calling from Windows Technical about my computer. Apparently something wrong with my computer so need to turn it on so they could sort it out. I asked them to tell me what my computer IP address is - which obviously they can t tell me because they don t know who they are speaking to. IT IS A SCAM - THEY WANT A ONE OFF, LIFETIME PAYMENT. Had this call 11.30 today. Well spoken young man says " I hope i ve got the right number, can i speak to Mr (My Surname)". . .i ask which one as there are three Mr (My Surname) at this address. He then shouts something garbled down the phone and hangs up! 07712657744 is now well and truly BLOCKED!!

I had to call them back as I was waiting for an urgent call. They say they are a charity for children with brain damage. I think this is a scam.

This is SCAM ! RED CLAIMS GROUP !! Don t answer, don t talk to them and don t give your personal information.

So far in the past week I have had 13 calls from these people. Thankfully I have a CPR Call Blocker fitted on my phone line, so now I don t even hear the phone ring. They do seem to be very persistent though. Hopefully they will realise soon they aren t going to get anywhere with my number and give up.

This number called with message about "every house needs to be done by 2016" plus "we are in your area" last week - some solar panel scam. Didn t answer - the message is recorded on my answerphone. Same message from 01316483485 yesterday - same result. This lot have probably rented fake numbers from a major phone company which offers them on its web site. Some firms offer call centres numbers which give the person called the idea that it is a local call.
