A man called Peter came on the phone and informed me that a loan application had been made in my name for £1000. When asked about further information he hung the phone up. Cowardly scammer company. Screen all calls carefully!
Is this another scam? Why do they call and refuse to give their name to Call Guardian, if they are a genuine caller? Sounds like one if the other I have blocked, wonderful phone for Blocking PESTS, but, they still try to get through.

Asked the caller for his name and name of the company he worked for. He just kept repeating my name, saying 1twas the same as his. I told him to remove my number from his list but he refused to do so saying it wasn t possible. I ve now blocked it.
Got a call from this number, guy on the other end, obviously not a Manchester or indeed British accent, asked about life insurance. I told them I m not interested they called me back about 10 times despite being told to go away each time. Each time more rudely than the last.
