Scammer calling from India to try and get my bank details: ref amazon payment

i received a call from this number stating my ip address had been compromised could I please confirm my ip address. when I asked who called they hung up.

Repeated calls, leaves no message, and clears as soon as my answer machine cuts in.

They pretend to be from talktalk or BT and tell you that your computer has a virus and they need to download remote control software so they can fix it. In reality they are going to try and steal your bank and credit card details.
