I had a call this morning from 01628 349218 stating it was BT's technical dept and my internet will be terminated today. I hung up. Then I received a call from this number about 20 minutes later but there was silence. Hung up immediately. Others have reported this number also has a recorded message about BT's technical dept.

I asked who he was calling from, he paused to think for a minute and then said something with accident in the name but it wasn't the same as the 'Accident Legal Advice' one above. Told him I had nothing to do with that company and put the phone down. Clearly a scam.

Yes, mine was a foreign sounding man too; said the same thing - that he was from windows and my computer was misbehaving. I didn't say anything but just hung up. i suspect if I had gone along with the scam, I would have messed up my computer.
