SCAM/PHISHING? Foreign sounding man calling himself ‘Kevin’ from the ‘Post Code Lottery’ said that I had been picked to win a ‘gift card’ that would give me 40% off ANY supermarket shop. I said I hadn’t entered any competition, but he just carried on talking. He knew my name/surname, and asked my age. Refused to tell him. He was persistent & asked again. SCAM / SPAM Claimed to be calling from EON Energy, then changed to Energy Serve Ltd based in Manchester. Calling from a London dialling code - pointed this out to the called who put the phone down on me.
SCAMi had a number of calls and messages recently from this number 2 automated calls stating there going to go to a county court and 2 voice calls where a gentleman said he was from hmrc but couldn't speak very well English and started asking for my details to be able to tell me Any further info I said that this was not the hmrc number and he hung up I have now blocked this number

We have been called from this number by somebody claiming to be from British Gas, about an outstanding invoice. As out invoices are regularly paid on time, this is a scam to try and get card details for payment.

Someone from this number keeps calling me but does not leave a message. I put that down as very untrustworthy. Anyone who wants to speak to me would leave a message, rather than just calling and hanging up......
The caller said they have to inform me of £600 Fraud on my account and to select a button if it was me. It did not say who it was from or which bank it was from. I do not have a bank based in Burnley.
