Did not recognise this number but a previous tellows report mentioned the name Baxi and as I have an appointment with an engineer from that company I called the number. Unfortunately the call nformed me that the engineer s appointment to was delayed by two days!
Fraud. The female caller (with a strange accent) said she representing Star Financial Services in the USA, and claimed they are currently engaged in a hostile takeover of Prudential Plc. so they wanted to buy my shares but first needed me to sign a non-disclosure agreement. They wanted my email address to send the documents. I said no, even tho they had my correct name and home phone number. I googled the company and they only have 5 employees and a non-phone number listed on BBB in the US.

My partner have a lot of personal stuff happening and these idiots just call several times a day and sometimes because it looks like a genuine number you automatically pick up. DON T do it. I m letting the answer machine do it s thing but I just wish these idiots would bugger off.

THIS IS A PHISHING SCAM! It was the contact number on a scam email supposedly from 'Kaspersky Total Security', (number given as +???????? (????????????) ????????????-????????????????) email said Kaspersky "sent you an invoice for £539.10 GBP". I am not, and never have been, a customer of Kaspersky, so this was obviously a SCAM! From reverse searches it appears this is an insurance company who I am not with, plus I m on mobility.
