I had a call from this number earlier today. The Indian voice called himself Jordan and said he was from BT. I told him I wasn't with BT but he said that didn't matter...
Yet another illicit sales call from this address to a TPS registered private number, again with no message left! Now blocked, although they seem to have several numbers from here.

There was a recorded announcement of two misuses of my credit card (one of them Tesco). No mention of who was calling. A recorded announcement asked me to "press 2 and hold" to speak to customer service. A male voice with a strong foreign accent then asked me for my personal details. When asked what bank he was from the phone went dead.

Ian from some unsolicited energy company telesales asking wanting to speak to the bill payer for the electricity supply. When told we were on the TPS register he kept himself on hold for a minute and said he had reported it to his manager. Well if they were a decent company they should be using the latest TPS register but obviously they are another scamming company flouting ALL the rules. I put down the phone, went to my local bank and asked them to check. No money had been taken or removed or sent. Dangerous for someone who gets involved speaking to these scum.

Probably building to a scam, claimed to be BT a UK telephone provider investigating illegal activity on my internet, when I inquired as to who might be doing illegal things the caller suggested probably foreigners! The call was made at 7am in the morning to a private number, land line and one only known to family members.
