Same number has tried to call me daily for weeks. I have installed an android app called CM security which blocks numbers you have reported and also what the other app users have reported. You will still receive a notification that they have tried to call though.

1338 20 Feb 17. An 'Indian' sounding gentleman called to inform me of troubles with my computer. Ha! Will this scam ever go away?

Keeps ringing me several times a day. When I answer I am greeted by silence. Totally annoying. Tried blocking them on my phone but the scamsters have got around that as well.

These people obtain, STEAL, your tel. number from your ip address via metadata. Ever come accross annoying adverts when browsing online which doesn t let you close? ie. Engadget, youtube etc... Mine was a survey which popped up whilst online and I had to wait 20secs inorder to dismiss that advert. Enduring the agonising 20 secs. Call repeatedly even after asking to be removed. Very rude, hang up as soon as you say stop calling. Dont trust these people

Called landline today 26.04.2021 09.40am. No message left. Reports elsewhere suggest domestic appliance warranty expiry scam.
