Fraud HMRC is aware of an automated phone call scam which will tell you HMRC is filing a lawsuit against you, and to press 1 to speak to a caseworker to make a payment. Called them back, 03 numbers free on my plan, so didnt get charged (checked with the phone company) told them that i had reported their number, was hung up on. They rang the next day, dead air, rang the phone company who told me they can block the number. Wont be getting that again. Do not trust, when i call them i got different company names every time.
