Wasn't sure if it was genuine so rang Halifax. They asked me some questions and said the call was genuine, also he was very helpful. If in doubt call your local branch.
Have been calling me every day for at least past two weeks. If they really wanted to speak to me they would leave a message - everyone else who isn't a sales person does. In view of all comments blocking it now. Why can't someone stop these people pestering us? Probably because phone companies are making money.....
