Had call from "Steven" claiming to be from BT, very similar to one I had last week, told him as such, and that I had checked out the last one with BT and he hung up whilst I was mid-sentence. If in any doubt call BT and they can tell you when you were last contacted by them, although they don t seem to be bothered about doing anything about these nuisance scam calls.

The girl called 'Kate' mentioned my business name and said she found me via facebook. There was a lot of background noise. Sounded like a call centre but can't be sure. I was cagey on the phone as I was not expecting the call and unfortunately am very aware of prank calls. But with caller ID showing as a mobile number I take the call as it could be prospective business. She picked up on this and started talking nonsense about not forcing me to do a bungy jump. I had received a voicemail stating they were from the inland revenue and that I needed to phone them back before they took legal action, I did so.... They stated that they had 607 pounds to reimburse in tax back to my bank account and that if I hung up they would freeze all outgoings to and from my account I told them bollocks and that I was going to report the number... Not quite sure what they are on with but don't fall for it.
