Fraud. Automated HMRC call stating a tax fraud has been registered against your name.
Called me twice now with no-one speaking and a click, then phone is dead. Really weird...like they are waiting for an older person to answer so they can con them.....sorry, just really cynical.
This seems to be a new nuisance caller for me. I've had 6 calls to my mobile phone today from this number between 10.30am & 5.30pm. I have a personal policy of not answ...

For the last 3 to 4 weeks, this number repeatedly calls during the day and leaves no message when unanswered. As I work nights, this generally wakes me but they don't stay on the call long enough for me to answer. I do not know anyone in the Pontypridd area and am not expecting any calls.

Called and asked for my husband. I said not available. The very well spoken gentleman asked to leave his number. I asked what it was regarding and he said the estate of *****. I was instantly suspicious as I had not heard of the company in relation to the estate. So I said I hadn t heard of them, he said because we have been speaking to ******. SCAM Call This is a scam number. It is a Broadband scam. They a message first states your broadband is being hacked and has large actvities being undertaken on the broadband. It then askes you to press 1 to talk to someone in the technical team. I pressed 1 and a man with an indian accent stated that i should get my computer so he can guide me on what to do to rid the broadband hackers. I hung up the phone on this request.
