SCAM they said they were from MEH about my life insurance which I don’t have. They asked me if I had a mortgage and before I could say ‘no’ they hung up!! So blocked and deleted!
Rang me and was a silent call, always engaged when you call back. Looks like a new number obtained by scammers.
Housing maintenance scam? Called them back several times and calls were answered by different people each time. They then called me back and asked for my wife by her first name. They said they were calling people who rented council property and asked if this was still the case with my house......which is a private house and always has been. Now blocked.

Caller has name and texts message asking if this is my personal number. Beware- no idea who caller is and not from location I tecognise
rang on our landline but we have call screening, didn't announce who they were or leave a message so can't be anything important or anyone we know as known contacts are listed.
SCAM - Automated voice recording upon answering the call - claimed to be from HMRC regarding legal action. Hung up and blocked the number.

Try’s to tell you there’s a CCJ against you for unpaid fees to an advertising company (community council advertising working in connection with National crime prevention) recons bailiffs will be attending at 9am. This number has rang me several times I think this the London company that called with man asking are you home owner or rental. Then he asked if flat had any dampness or other problems. There trying to get you to let them report the damage then you would get into trouble with council. They would be threatened with legal action. Next trick is no win no fee. Costing you around £400 if they don't win. They only take cases where they are over 80% chance of win . Scam to get your address and bank .
