I've had several calls in the last few days, and they just hang up when you answer
SCAM pretending to be from your bank asking if you've made a transfer for £600 via western union. Obviously a Scam , can't see how anyone could fall for it but just writing this as a warning so it shows up as Scam if you've got smart caller ID on

Call received stating a free travel cruise and flight voucher had been won, but stated they reired a ?30 booking fee was required. We I stated I would not pass my bank card details over the phone and they were welcome to send documents to me the man hung up....

was called, supposedly, from HMRC and that I am about being accused for tax fraud and to press 1 to talk to an agent, otherwise I'd be arrested. Upon pressing 1 it directed me to a call centre where the accent of the recorded voice switched from British to American. Hung up right away

12 calls in the last 24 hours from this number. Answered first call and was told they were to do with PPI, I immediately asked to be removed from calling list caller then became rude and abusive. No further calls answered, this seems to not deter them at all, and is bordering on criminal harassment.

SCAM Caller claimed to be from "technical department of BT Openreach"
Fraud The usual "Your BT internet and phone has been compromised and will be cut off in 24 hours" even though I'm not with BT. Followed up by wanting to download remote control access programmes on my laptop. I just feigned interest to leave them hanging on as long as possible; whilst they are hanging on waiting for me they aren't scamming somebody else.
