My car was involved in an accident, 100% liability on other driver & is going through Motability insurance (both cars are on the scheme). This is around the 10th call in a month using same script from different numbers (all now blocked). Just spoken to O2 regarding this number and the calls my wife had been getting. They confirmed that the number does belong to O2 and is not a scam, it is their Customer Research (for want of a better description) calling to ensure she was getting the right deal for her and to see if she wanted to upgrade, so I suppose they re Market Research/Sales. Perfectly safe to answer. If in doubt, just don t give answers to questions you feel uncomfortable about.

I was called from this number but only got a dialling tone when I answered. Checking the number on other sites, I found it had been reported as dangerous by a number of people.
SCAM Claim to be a utility company and can get you a cheaper deal. Beware the loophole in law that you can be tied to bad deal verbally without signature for energy contracts!

The Company names they give are Web Security Global, Microsoft 24 Security Support and Web Expert Security – ALL ARE non-existent. These callers are persistent, aggressive and thoroughly unpleasant. They have been reported to Trading Standards and to the Police.
