Anonymus Scam call,claimed to be phoning from Microsoft I hang up

Anytime I pick it up there is no answer/silence at the other end. Calls me 2-3 times a day and really makes me want to do this person wrong, whoever they are. Blocked it, so at least do not hear the ring, but still appears on my calling list.

Called saying someone had gained access to my computer and was using it for illegal purposes. Couldn t hear the caller properly and they got frustrated and hung up.

This is a call from a very thick Chinese guy who speaks poor English. He keeps on insisting that you answer some lifestyle questions. When you refuse he will hang up and call back the next day. If you ask him to remove your number from their database he will hang up. It is from Today s Living Marketing Survey. Some pension scam "You are owed ?1,000 due to pension bla bla bla" utter crap -- just trying to con money out of people. If it was genuine they would have my address and have sent me a letter. Another number in my call blocker ---- best gadget I ever bought --- there is nothing like the satisfaction I get in putting people numbers in this - they only ring once and never again!

I answered today and said the same thing - so checked what information they had on my address etc, and have the correct address, have asked for the information, and will check it out when I receive it. I asked where they had obtained my information from and he said from an online form I had completed, and as I have recently, this would seem feasible, as the databases are available to purchase in the telemarketing world.
