Claimed to be able to save me money on my mobile phone bill. Claimed originally to be from EE, but that isn't my provider, he then argued with me about my provider - he eventually hung up. I always keep them talking as much as possible to save the next poor victim.
SCAM sounds like background noise in a call centre, couldn't understand who she was saying she was from and sounded as if Indian/Pakistani.

I was told I could Google it and when I said I was not going to Google it and I asked again for their number the line went dead.

Scam caller claiming to be from Virgin. The call was made by an official sounding call centre (the woman sounded Indian). I found this number on my 11 year old daughters phone and when I checked it out found that it belongs to a 40 year old man named Ali who met my daughter through Instagram and was trying to get her to meet up with him - reported to police who are now investigating and have arrested the individual for interview - he is VERY DANGEROUS beware
The number will ring you and cancel the call before you can pick up, if you call back it will fail, most likely using a number spoofer.
