SCAM Claims to be from Virgin Media. 01453762342 Told them they were a scam an hung up. The same woman had the cheek to call back and asked WHY I’d hung up on her.

Block this number if possible, otherwise store it in address book as eg. PEST or DO NOT ANSWER, and ignore/reject each time you re called.

Called and asked about a car accident I d supposedly had - as soon as I asked how they knew I was in an accident, they claimed my details were included on a National register of car accidents . I said this was simply not possible, and demanded to know where they had gotten my contact details from and they hung up immediately. Two weeks later, another call. I have used them and always been happy but over 3 days ive had over 20 calls. would put me off ever using them again!! my insurance wasnt even up! Called me and said needed to review my life insurance. Knew my name and dob but when I asked which company, policy number, sum insured had no details and hung up. Sounded legitimate but clearly not
Fraud. Recorded voice claimed to be Amazon Prime and said I had been charged 79.99 and if that wasn't me to press 1 on my phone keypad. As Prime is actually £79 for a year, I terminated the call and blocked the number.

Big time Scammers. Don't answer any calls from 01223713498 woman claiming to be from Virgin Media advised me someone was trying to hack my broadband account. When I replied that's funny I don't have a broadband connection. She swiftly ended the call.
