Completely agree with the other review. There's no reason for me to be called from England. I WOULD ADVISE NOT TO CALL THIS NUMBER BACK, as the number showed as possible fraud. There have been accounts of people calling a number like this back and getting charged a lot of money.

Caller said they were from "Microsoft Corporation". They asked for information about my computer, telling me that they knew there was a problem. I kept them talking by asking questions. The caller got angrier and told me that they would be "seeing me tomorrow" before ringing off.

Repeated calls from this number. I finally answered. They knew my name (first name) and claimed to be from a company I couldn't understand the name of despite repeated requests for them to repeat it. They said they were calling to review my life policies. On the basis my life policies are with a company whose name sounds nothing like what they said, I told them I have no policies with them. The caller paused, said thank you and hung up.

Fraud. Text received from them saying they are the "PRA Group. You have a discount". I didn't open the text, but googled PRA Group instead. Apparently they are an American debt collecting agency. Blocked!

SCAM A female agent called me with Mobile Phone = 07428693956 at 12:02 pm identifying themselves as BT Customer Services and Security. They said their engineer was working on the line and detected an extra IP address registered at my location. Now BT customer services never ring outbound on a mobile, plus IP addresses are allotted by the router and not by the user. Pre recorded Scam call relating to unexpected withdrawals from a bank account. No name or bank mentioned. Asked for me to press 1 to confirm. That's a giveaway (red flag) as is the lack of personal details. I put the phone down immediately.

An Asian voice, poor English spoken, said they were from Open Reach, and needed to check my modem. They made a give-away mistake as they got my internet provider wrong. This is the third call over the last 10 days, saying the same thing. But I didn't make a note of the number until the third time they called, which was today at 4.30 pm.

If it is Citrus Telecommunications network, they have to stop to bother people and threatening them that they will not stop with the calls, under the impression that we have no interest in their offered services.

Amazon scam from Asian call centre. Supposed fraudulent transaction on my Amazon account. Asked me to give six number code sent to me in SMS from Amazon - This was my two step verification code to change my password. All they need to get this sent to you is your Amazon account linked phone number. I did of course refuse.
