Please stop saying this is a scam, it is NOT A SCAM. This is Nationwide's genuine calling number. They call early in the morning and late at night in order to catch people outside of work hours. If you actually think it's a scam, you ask them for their employee ID and their name, then you call your bank on their normal customer service number and you confirm the person's details PLUS the phone number they called from. It's a call centre number, so that's probably why it won't go through to anyone when you c
One of many "helping with an insurance claim in the last three years " they introduce themselves by company and name but will not repeat if asked. Insisting I have an unresolved claim . It was on his database so it must be true. They also get aggressive. Would love to stop them altogether, I would hate to think these people older members of our population.

My husband had this message last night and thought I hadn't been paying the mortgage so a fraught 10 minutes which nearly ended in a row!!! I called the number from a landline and got no response so googled the problem on line and came up with these responses. So very worrying as I knew nothing was amiss. This is 100% M&S finance. I called them about some money they owed me, on the number 0800363400, the recptionist said someone would call me back about my querery. When I got the call back (30 mins later) it was from this number 03459000900.

This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls, fake wins, scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre.
