This number has called me 5times in 9days,i don't answer it because I don't recognise the number, becoming a nuisance.

I ve recently been involved in a car accident so they re calling me to attempt to get me compensation. I told them i have not been in a car accident and they simply hang up without even saying goodbye. however they continue to call me every day. if i don t answer they will call later, including evenings

The point of the scam is to find gullible people who will believe what they say. They are crooks who once they find a victim will ask them for personal details and /or credit card/bank details "So we can proceed with our refund to you" They then commit identity fraud or empty your bank account. Obviously you were the ones they were looking for for them to steal your hard earned money from. Wanted me to give further info on my PPI claim!I had nevermade any claim from them, never even heard of them; &told her I would never use any company who cold called me as they were illegally calling in the 1st instance. These people handle "deceased accounts" on behalf of Eon in UK. (I suspect they buy the debt). They also seem very interested in probate matters - perhaps they gain extra business this way. However - was pleasant call (got my number from Eon - I am Mum s executor), and they were not chasing payment just establishing status.

Smart Alec who lies, saying he spoke to another member of staff last week who didn t know much (back handed compliment) Trying to sell I.T. programs and associated bits. Just mention the Telephone Preference Scheme and the half million pounds fine if he continues. It works.
