I have had repeated call about 10 per day from the same number, 2 types of calls 1. as per above , that i owe money on credit cards 2. that the government has set up an scheme where they are freezing monthly interest payments on CC or store cards and if you have these cards you can just make a monthly payment to them instead . as i am a financial advisor i keep them talking for ages (appearing to be a bit non financial) after all it runs up their phone bill, then i wrap them in knots using my knowledge,

Just had a very shady call, would only speak to the owner. Tried a free app called call zapper today! I m sure there s loads similar ones available too! Answer silently (you have to be somewhere quiet!) then press home button and really quickly open the app then hit the FAX button and it plays the fax tone down the line to them! Let s see if it results in my number being deleted from their database! Give it a try and post up here how you get on!! PS It s not my app or anything (!) just sharing something I hope will work! JL

After a bit of sleuthing I ve found out that this number belongs to Verso Group, a telemarketing company. You can request to have your number removed from their database via [email?protected] or by calling their customer complaints team on 01582 763 090.
