Someone called me from this number this morning and I answered. He said that he was phoning in regard to a recent survey that had done with regard to debts and wanting to reduce the amount paying. He knew my name but did not introduce himself or who he was workingfor. As soon as I told him I had not filled any survey online he hung up. I tried to ring the number back but it went through to an Orange answerphone that message box was full.

Said "I m (muffled name) calling from (muffled) finance, how are you".
nNo one I know or have heard of so assume phishing scam.

Has contacted me over 4 times in past 7 days. No message left in answering machine if in pick up. Pest.

I keep getting phone calls from this number, it rings a couple of times and hangs up, Ive tried calling them but they hang up the phone.

I ve received 3 calls from these idiots - two I failed to answer but after reading posts on sites like this decided, for my own amusement, to answer on the third call. The people on the other end of this phone have confirmed by letter they are delivering me a phone on 23rd August 2012 and that my current phone will be switched off on 26th. Automated cold caller, very annoying.

Calling every day not leaving message so cant be very important will try to catch it & put it in my call protect voicemail box,strange that none of the numbers ive put in there so far have left a message.

Said it was HMRC investigating fraud and if I did not press 1 I would be arrested and sent to prison!

Called me and then the usual number of 0161 850 1033 came up, so they must be connected. Hard sell company trying to make out a windfall amount of cash from a non-fault accident is yours and is simply dying to drop in to your lap. Avoid.
