Phoned my Dad with the same Microsoft rubbish quoting a serial number and saying that they would disable his computer, my Dad hung up but they rang straight back. He told them to go ahead and try to disable the computer but nothing happened. He asked for the guy s name and number and he said he was Peter Connor and quoted this number. Someone must be able to track down these scum, wherever in the world they are and lock them up!

How the hell are these scum still calling me market telesales crap calls off Scottish Power have been calling for 3days & up to 15-20 times per day it s now 20:45pm & they are still calling regardless of the fact i have screamed NOT INTERESTED several times. Had a call from this number which rung once then hung up to have a private number phone back immediately. I answered and didn t say anything, neither did they, I left my phone, came back and the vall was still on going after 10 mins of no-one saying a word I hung up.

Basically they re a fishing company, poorly-paid scammers doing blanket cold calling asking "have you had an accident in past 3 years" (citing they have bogus "information at hand") until, inevitably, someone says "yes". Cue then a selling job about how they can claim compo for you (for a % price). Not a scam; just a sad reflection of compensation culture and call-centre mentality. Hang up immediately; or if you want to be arsey, engage person in pointless conversation (though it isn t really his/her fault)

Put the phone down after I answered.

My mother has just taken a call from this number asking if she had life insurance & suggesting she get some. She ended the call.

This number calls me two or three times at about 10 minutes intervals. It never leaves a message. It also seems to be associated with another number 07482876440 which calls with the same pattern. Clearly these numbers are from someone who knows that I do not want to speak to them. Otherwise they would leave their details.

I received a call from a man with a very strong accent claiming to be from BT to help speed up our broadband. The fact that he greeted me saying ?hi I?m Martin? then 5 minutes later told me his name was John Wilson, was a huge red flag. I can confirm that this is a scam call number as I called the real BT to confirm the number was not affiliated with them. Do not give out any information or allow these scammers access to your computer!

These people obtain, STEAL, your tel. number from your ip address via metadata. Ever come accross annoying adverts when browsing online which doesn t let you close? ie. Engadget, youtube etc... 08452868745 called my landline at 11:41 on 22 July 2015 claiming to be from I-talk saying his name was Lee and he needed to set-up my free calls which should have been done. I said we are with BT. He answered do you think I would be calling you if I didn’t know that, also saying he had permission from Bt to make these calls. He also added surly you need to save money. I told him never to call again as we are registered with TPS. He said how long have you been registered with Telephone Preference Service..
