They claim to be from Microsoft Reading Headquarters. They claim that you have several viruses and they will fix them by asking you for access to your computer. A complete scam and fraud.

Very demanding woman, said she was from BT and wanted to fix my router problem. There’s nothing wrong with my router. I disconnected when she started asking me to press certain buttons on my phone.

This is a hoax .... say they are from currys and PC world... they offer upgrade on your phone, 1 week on no new phone canceled card payment and direct debit, phoned again today soon as they heard my voice they hung up, I've been keeping the line busy for the past 2 hours .... got nothing better to do. Couldn’t understand a word said, as soon as I answered the phone there was a loud fast lot of words rushed out then quiet with no response when I asked who they were. I’m not even sure if they were human or recording, so I put the phone down since another word was not spoken by them.
