This number is used to scam people out if money on Whats App. It will pretend to be a family member and ask you to talk on What’s App only and then ask to lend money for Christmas presents because they have been locked out of their banking app. Always ask for information that will verify that you are actually talking to your family member or they will play a clever game and scam you out if your cash. They tried to get £940 off me!! This has been reported to What’s App.

SCAM Local number saying they were from Virgin Media. Virgin Media don't use local numbers.

This call came in on my landline, if I don't recognise the number I let the answerphone pick up. A recording told me that my Internet was going to be switched off and to press 1 to speak to someone. This is an obvious scam as they didn't mention the name of my ISP. They would only communicate be email. People would panic if they received this and possibly get caught out.

He said he was in Winchester and it was 4pm: Wrong. I asked him to look out of a window and asses his life choices

Randomly called said she was from sky and said our internet is slow. Tried to get us to download and app called quick support. This app allows people to remotely access your phone. Very dangerous as the can get so many details this way. We questioned her and she hung up. Called back and metro express answered, Im guessing this number is used for numerous amounts of scams. Called saying they were HSBC and wanted to check a transaction on my account Asked me to confirm my date of birth but I told them I would ring back Called the bank on another number and they checked my account there were no issues flagged Therefore a phishing call however this person seemed to know my name and date of birth

SCAM Automated voice purporting to be Amazon stating prime membership has lapsed and requires to be renewed. My Prime membership is fine and I doubt that Amazon would be calling about it, especially from a local Dundee number!
