Rang my mobile briefly and then stopped. No message left. Probably trying to get me to call them back. I ve had a lot of this type of call lately and they re always from telemarketers or accident claims hawkers, so draw your own conclusions about this one.

No voicemail message left - presumably a scam. This may be unfair, but if you phone from a mobile and neglect to leave a voicemail it will be assumed that you are selling/scamming. Nobody answers unknown numbers these days.

Automated voice claiming that my National Insurance number and bank account have been suspended. It said that I had been involved in criminal activity and that I was compelled by the department to press 1. I didn't press 1. after 5 seconds, the call was cut off.
