silent then hung up. Usually what happens is I get some silent calls before the influx of thick Indian accents asking about my phone in the proceeding days. aka fishing for operational phone numbers via an automated dialer.
Have called me 3 times saying they were from EE. Stated that as a loyal EE customer I'm entitled to a 40% discount. However I don't use EE and told the Asian Gentlemen that. He them asked for my current provider. I asked him why? No answer and I then hung up

Received this call today. It came approximately 30 minutes after a call from a Cambridge number 01223 931995. The Cambridge number went dead on answering. The 01330 563426 number allowed me to answer, and an automated message said it was the HMRC and that I would be fined. You could press 1 to talk to an agent. I hung up. You cannot ring back. Panda Antivirus / Watchguard now own them genuine number but it;s the sales team so can be a bit pushy
did not recognise number. I answered but did not speak. there was a lot of background chatter, possibly a crowded office or call centre. caller just repeated "hello" without any introduction. they gave up after a few moments and just said "ok" and hung up.
