Indian/Pakistani sounding clearly calling from a call centre not in the U.K. as he had me on speaker phone and could hear him speaking with someone else as I answered the call. indian sounding lady called today, used my "nickname" that I don t use professionally, said that she was calling from Microsoft and that the technical team had noticed a problem with Windows on my computer. When I said I was an IT graduate with several years of support experience and that her story did not add up, and that she was calling from Watford where Microsoft do not have an office, she strangely put the phone down on me!

Called me and said needed to review my life insurance. Knew my name and dob but when I asked which company, policy number, sum insured had no details and hung up. Sounded legitimate but clearly not
