I ve have several silent calls from these idiots.
An automated message comes up saying the call is from HM Revenue & Customs, gives you a case file number, and says if you ignore the call, you will face legal applications. Then asks you to press 1 to speak to an adviser. The advisor distantly says she is calling from the HMRC and asks for your name. When I asked her where are you calling from again, she hung up.
I had a silent call from this number.
SCAM Someone called “David” called trying to sell me a mobile phone contract. iPhone 13 pro max, 24 months with unlimited data, minutes and texts. For £40 a month. When enquired, came up with nonsense which made no sense. Asked for network provider, my name, and starting asking family names. Of course gave fake names and realised I knew they were scammers. Swearing dialogue commenced, said they were from Sri Lanka which seems nonsense. Accent sounded Indian. Called back on different number

Just received a call from these people claiming to be providing access to some sort of discount club and that they would send a welcome pack in the post. They asked how many holidays I have a year and whether they are abroad or not (in hindsight maybe that’s to determine disposable income). They asked who I bank with and I refused to answer. I keep getting phone calls from this number, it rings a couple of times and hangs up, Ive tried calling them but they hang up the phone.
When I stopped the call and tried using 1471, the tape was still running and over ran the call I was trying to make.

They call on a regular basis trying to say that I can claim on mis-sold insurance, loans and credit cards. I think there really a debt collection agency trying to confirm your identity and getting you to confirm old debts. TOTAL PARRASITES, DO NOT HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THEM.
Called me at a1049 on 6th October 2020. Saying inland revenue are chasing me for tax evasion and I should ring back on this number, definitely do not ring them. This is a hoax. Inland revenue do not make these types of calls. You will be charged at premium rates and be kept in the phone, while you get a huge bill for that call.
Clarity is a charity who sell their products over the telephone. I am not too sure how they obtain the numbers that they call.

SCAM / SPAM Claimed to be a “Main Trading Centre in London” who were contacting me in regards to my interest in trading. I hung up and they called back twice. Called by Jack Wilson & told I ve not responded to computer warning alerts and troubleshooting. Please sit in front of my computer and it ll take 5 minutes to sort it out. I asked for his name and the company, he rushed in to telling me I have a problem . I ve not turned my PC on this morning. He didn t say what kind of operating system has a problem ie PC or Mac. All too pushy on the phone. The telephone number is not a central London, Hanover Square number. I don t trust it.
So far in the past week I have had 13 calls from these people. Thankfully I have a CPR Call Blocker fitted on my phone line, so now I don t even hear the phone ring. They do seem to be very persistent though. Hopefully they will realise soon they aren t going to get anywhere with my number and give up.
I have no idea why this number has called my landline, but at 05:12 today, it was more than annoying.
