They phoned me in January, February, March, April and today 1st of May 2018 ! lol Problem been their phoning an old dead number of mine, calls are logged (recorded) and any txt messages are forwarded to my new number. Same officious voice that has called from different no.s beginning 777191 re Inland Revenue etc, threatening court etc. I hung up after the first few words which I think were fraud squad, got an order bla bla. I block these numbers but they keep changing the calling number.

Rang twice and hung up. I saw it was a premium number so did not answer. The best way to notice a scam call is when the caller asks for you by surname (which they cannot pronounce) probably because the forename is not mentioned in the records as they see them. Then scammers ALWAYS ask how you are, which is often when they try pulling up more details from the records.

Often in morning or evening. even up to 3 times a day. As with all unknown numbers just slide to busy tone and never answer. Nuisance. No reason for EE to call me on unknown numbers. I only get email or SMS from them on genuine Caller ID d numbers.

They called me today asking for my wife, said they had details of a loan she d taken out that had been passed on to them, I pressed for details and they gave some details of a loan she hasn t taken out. She said the company was BPI Claim Line and are part of another company (couldn t make out the name) and they re regulated by the Ministry of Justice. She hung up on me when I pressed her for the company name that they were part of.
