Female caller with an Asian accent rang from this number twice today. Said she was from Benefits UK. I asked who Benefits UK is, and she replied "A company", and wanted to ask me some questions, which would only take a couple of minutes. I replied that I do not answer questions over the phone, and she hung up. A couple of hours later, the number rang again, and my daughter answered. She told the caller that our number is ex directory and that we are TPS registered. Again, the caller hung up.

This is a company called Business Advisory Services who appear to be a genuine energy broker but they are aggressive and pushy on the phone. This number was given to me by Visa Card Scammers, when I questioned the quality of the call. They asked for my bank sort code, (I gave them one that I knew from Coventry) Then in an effort to prove they were legit, proceeded to tell me where my bank was. Investigations and trackers located source to the Khram Pokrova Presbytery at Bogoroditsy in the New Soviet Union (Russian Federation) Republic of Mordovia.

On some phones you can block the numbers, I have an iPhone 5s and it s very handy being able to block these pests. Iv had 30+ calls from different numbers the past few weeks too! of which I just keep blocking. Iv answers a few times and one guy was so nasty after I politely asked him to stop calling.. He was unbelievably rude and threatening!
Phoned 4 times today, ambulance chasers, I left phone off the hook for 5 minutes, she was shouting “is anybody there?” constantly. Received more calls, all unanswered, around tea time.
