SCAM I answered this number today and after around 5 seconds of silence, was played a recorded message saying something about my National Insurance number being involved with some fraud. It then said to resolve this issue PRESS 1. at which point I hung up.
Lady calling to offer advertising space in a 'local magazine', they support a cancer charity. Quite polite and not pushy but I wasn't interested.

Indian/Pakistani sounding clearly calling from a call centre not in the U.K. as he had me on speaker phone and could hear him speaking with someone else as I answered the call. He asked for someone I don’t know. I told him I didn’t know the person and he got rude and aggressive with me before hanging up. I’ve blocked the number.
Caller had rough Mancunian accent. He told me I had been hurt in a car accident & could claim compensation for me.
Contacted saying they were from yahoo and upgrading my website listing on yahoo. Trying to get me to log in immediately. I said not near pc!

This grouping of numbers is ridiculous! I started researching this number and it returned spam, so no, I don't need to hear what they have to say! If I fail to answer once, they'll immediately try to call again. When I don't answer, I block. Then they'll ring on a slightly different number in the coming days with the same tactics. I was called from this number and the caller was very insistent / pushy about the fact that I MUST be owed PPI compensation otherwise they would not be calling.
