Fraudulent message about coming in contact with someone with Covid 19. I clicked on the link, they provided and saw it looked like an NHS website. Then I went to click on the NHS logo (assuming it would take me to the homepage), however, it came up with a 404 code showing this page didn’t exist. This is a SCAM. It’s a fabricated message. Don’t fill out any details they ask for!

The caller had a very thick south Asian accent and claimed to be from "my network" - I didn't catch which one - and that I could benefit from an "offer". I cut the call and blocked the number.

Phone No. 01329239173 phoned today and claimed to be my bank security, without stating who I bank with, they said that I'd authorised Payments of £300 to Amazon and £1200 from a site I don't normally use. This was obviously a scam to get my Bank Details, I've checked with my bank and no such payments have been authorised, ,thank god. This comes after I've been hit on one of my cards for a payment I hadn't authorised with Fancy2go.com, another con artist.

Received this call today. It came approximately 30 minutes after a call from a Cambridge number 01223 931995. The Cambridge number went dead on answering. The 01330 563426 number allowed me to answer, and an automated message said it was the HMRC and that I would be fined. You could press 1 to talk to an agent. I hung up. You cannot ring back. Fraud Fraud call from very far away, with Indian accent. I've been covered in these fraud calls lately. The connection is poor and sounds like internet calls and they don't originate in the UK.
Said they were from Fonehouse, must have spoofed the number, number came up as a pub in London.

Missed call - I have had 3 calls in one day - all from Northern Island but all different numbers: 02893535035 and 02894106936 and 02877079126. I don't know anyone from this area and they have not left a message. I have never had calls from this area previously, let alone 3 on the same day.
Some sort of SCAM. Phone caller said he was from Microsoft and was warning me that my computer had been hacked. When I terminated the call he rang back to say he was going to disconnect my computer!
SPAM This number is from a batch of similar numbers: 07488871703. 07488871758, 07488871735, 07488871757, 07488871649, 07488871624, 07488871560. Many have been missed calls and the rest I let ring out. I rang back and they all have had an answering machine with the same female voice putting me in a queue and at no point saying who they are. Whoever they are, they have the ability to have or create many numbers. They get blocked and move onto another number and call back.
SCAM Fraud BEWARE ! This number has only recently appeared on this site (August 2023) from other people checking. Caller says you've suspicious transactions on your card, knows your name and last four digits of the card. Asks you to check the balance, in my case without any security questions. Hung up on me and didn't call me back when I told him I keep very little in the account, whilst I was silently checking the account in the background. SCAM Said they were O2. Very convincing. Sent an OTP, like a fool, I gave it to them. By the time their call ended, and I got through to O2 (max 10 minutes), they’d already changed my email and postal addresses. O2 tell me the only time they will ask for the OTP is when a customer calls them. Looks like I stopped them in time, all details now changed, and security info changed, but be careful people.
