I got called by this number at 18:07. The line was silent and when I hung up it called again. A quick search suggested it was Barclays Bank. An odd time of day for a bank to call! I contacted Barclays via their app for a live text chat. The operator assured me it was a Barclays number and not a scam. Persistent offender of harassment calls. Uncle Buck Finance LLC. They disguise their caller id using literally dozens of different numbers, all of which transfer to collections. It means you cannot easily use a call blocker to filter out these calls. But keep adding their numbers to your blocker, does help. When challenged to identify themselves, they state they are calling from UB. Ask for the full company name and corporation number, ICO number and FCA registration number for identification purposes.

Have been called by this number for weeks many times per day. When I answer no one responds. Do not feel comfortable calling the number back but want the harassment to stop immediately.
Someone with a strong Indian accent calling himself Francis called early in the morning wanting to conduct a survey. He hung up without apology when I mentioned I was registered with TPS. Report these telepests to ICO.

The registered message said there were from HMRC Revenue and Customs but when I press 1 to speak the operator the line dropped.

When I asked where did they get my number from they mumble some national something. when I said they don't have my number they said all they need to know if my house is damaged. I said they don't even know if my property privately owned. Then they hanged up.

Amy claimed be be from a domestic appliance insurance company and wanted me to renew my policy with them. I've never had such a policy for any of my domestic appliances. I suggested to Amy that she might consider earning an honest living instead of makingthese spam phone calls to innocent people. She she didn't understand me and hung up.
