The person on the other end told me they were ringing to review my mortgage. When I told her I was uncomfortable discussing it over the phone, she got aggressive and rude. She told me my husband had requested a callback which I knew was a lie because he doesn t deal with this stuff over the net or phone!! when I said that he wouldn t have requested a callback she was really abusive and before she could hang up I told her how rude she was!! These people claimed they had a cheque for me but I needed to pay £500 cash up front had to be paid by purchasing iTunes vouchers and giving them the numbers! I did this then following day they asked for a further £650 cash when I said I hadn't got the money the man got very rude and aggressive! Ended up putting the phone down on me. Tried ringing back they kept hanging up! Lost £500 and have no way of tracing the company either!

SCAM / SPAM Rang and said they were BT very heavy Chinese accent.They said there was a problem with my internet in my area.When I asked where was my area and what was the problem she couldn’t answer .I said this is a scam they hung up.I rang 1471 it gave me the number tried to ring back but was not contactable

They all only rang a couple of times, not long enough to look at the number and decide if I was going to answer or not, before the caller hung up.
