I’m an Amazon shopper but lately I’ve received ‘texts’ with ‘offers’. They all have a link which will obviously be ones downfall if they click on it.
I having my website redesign and both James and Lisa listen very carefully of what I wanted to have done. Originally, I ask for consultation for a personal website by mistake and Arial made sure that I got to the right department and reschedule me an appointment with Commerce-redesign on the same day. This is a scam. they try to get you to invest. they never give up and will use different numbers all over England. Each person who calls you is of Indian origins. Not possible in England not to have one person who is not and indian. Especially with Englands diversity. Just dont answer or hang up and block the number.

This was an automated call claiming to be from a bank (unspecified), warning me about two purchases through Amazon, on my bank card. I had a similar call for a local number earlier in the day. I didn't click 1 or 2 to authorise or to get help. Apparently the number is a landline in Bangalore!

Foreign person called my business number and said they were from EDF ringing about my electric and gas. I said we didn't have gas and they hung up. Possible call centre or possible scam.
Nuisance caller, they seem to be very attractive in getting a holiday of a lifetime, to good to be misled, then they can get very pressured to sale you a holiday. Have some doubts before commiting yourself to a great getaway holiday.

SCAM / SPAM purporting to be from HM Customs with investigation ongoing on my number I was supposed to press 1 for further info needless to say I hung up and put it on blocked caller list.
Insurance, possible SCAM. Jimmy (Indian) called from Utility Hub to say that, because I hadn't made any callouts from my (non-existent) cover for a lot of things, I was entitled to a discount on my (non-existent) direct debit. He then passed me to Emma (again Indian) who, when I said that I couldn't trace Utility Hub , told me to see Heating and Home), whose website looks quite genuine. I listened patiently until she asked me to confirm my sort code, when I told her that she wouldn't get any bank details.
