didn't answer - call came from Pontefract. I called back on my landline and no ring tone, so blocked number.
The phone rang but stopped before I could answer it. I called the number to find out what they wanted but the fellow that answered said he hadn’t called me and that he had had lots of similar calls. This number has been spoofed by scammers. Beware!

SCAM Someone called “David” called trying to sell me a mobile phone contract. iPhone 13 pro max, 24 months with unlimited data, minutes and texts. For £40 a month. When enquired, came up with nonsense which made no sense. Asked for network provider, my name, and starting asking family names. Of course gave fake names and realised I knew they were scammers. Swearing dialogue commenced, said they were from Sri Lanka which seems nonsense. Accent sounded Indian. Called back on different number
Thick Indian accent purportedly collecting information re:"lifestyle choices" - they knew my name and postcode and asked about my age and employment status. I hung up soon afterwards but they called back immediately so, I explained that their call was unwelcome.

These jokers called me today addressing me as "Mr Steven" I said where are you calling from? He said "Nationwide" I said "Really? Well then you should know that in Britain nobody is Mr first name either just use their first name or Mr with their last name". When looked up it’s not connected to any company, personally I’m not waiting for a phone a call from Manchester as I’m from a different area in the UK.
