The guy who called could hardly speak English and said that I needed to update all of my details with him today otherwise, no one would be able to reach me by telephone or via my web site. I asked who he was calling from and he didn t say, so i asked him to delete my number from his call list. I think he then said he would ensure my entire records would be deleted and slammed down the telephone. Bon Chance!!

Left long message on answering mach. Serious law suit against me unless I rang. Robotic voice, Americanized pronunciation & legal phrases. Did not specify name of myself or partner. Again Jennifer Coleman from HMRC. They would write to named person, cause of action letter, would never leave message as don t know who would pick up. Could scare people into ringing them back. Asian voice asking for a name I have never heard of. Told him wrong number but he keeps ringing. Also rings on 02381 416660. He will not go away. Have stopped answering the phone!

To be honest anyone idiotic enough to fall for a scam like this deserves to be scammed.

I had my details sold by Car Phone Warehouse, after buying phones....... told ICO hope someone does something as in their terms and conditions there is wording relating to this, but no opt in or opt out..... it s just wrong, I pay for a service, a phone and then they sell my details on.... why .... never ever have I had such texts/ calls as I do now all within a day of purchasing something from their site...
