SCAM/SPAM. I was called on the 26/08/20 by this number. The caller said they were from SKY (my TV, telephone and broadband provider). He informed me that he was ringing to test my modem and improve its performance. He asked me to type a few commands which included the word “SKY”. He then asked me to permit remote access. Potential scam, American-sounding woman claimed to be from “something or other” from Amazon. I couldn’t make out what it was she said as the line kept crackling, sounded like Ice something but it didn’t make sense so I told her I’d never heard of it and ended the call.
