SCAM, called pretending to be Virgin media saying that people were accessing our internet once they started to ask certain questions I became sceptical. I asked why they hadn't gone through the normal security checks and they said they could confirm my internet line which any competent scammer can do and is not the usual security check I told them I would just change my password and they said it would not stop the problem :) so I said if they were genuine they should send me a letter

The man with a distinctly foreign accent said that he was from a Broadband provider that uses the 4G network £25 a month for 18 months. But what put me off was as soon as he had finished his schpeel he asked without prompt for my bank details. I said I would get back to him next week when I had done some research into the company.

called couple times and dead silence when I picked up the phone. not even background noise... super weird and annoying so I blocked them at the end

This number called this morning so called from BT Openreach advising my broadband is reported to being slow. Scam, bogus caller. Caller was of ethnic origin.

Spam call about first page listings on Google, when I explained we were already on the first page for the search value he was offering he actually had the gall to argue with me about it. Liar and scammer. Don't waste your time picking up. Also who in their right mind calls a business to speak to the owner and is hesitant when you ask for a reason why to give you one? I got called by this number earlier today. In my case even though it was unsolicited, it was a welcomed call from Carphone Warehouse. I had an issue with their website and the resolved it for me.
Automated message saying the crime investigation unit was after me for fraudulent use of my N.I. number....enough drivel for me to put the phone down.

I had my details sold by Car Phone Warehouse, after buying phones....... told ICO hope someone does something as in their terms and conditions there is wording relating to this, but no opt in or opt out..... it s just wrong, I pay for a service, a phone and then they sell my details on.... why .... never ever have I had such texts/ calls as I do now all within a day of purchasing something from their site...
2 calls in quick succession. I suspect this to be a scam regarding compensation for a car accident. I have had a lot of these calls lately.

This is my old phone number, I had it for like 8 years, I can't remember my new phone number, I can only remember this one, I've tried everything to get over this, I can't, in the morning and at night I think of this number. My new phone number means nothing to me, I don't respect it as it doesn't want to be remembered by me, it's been two years now. Very likely that this is a re-routed number from an India call centre. Female with accent tried to sell me warranty for a washing machine and couldn't answer when I asked for a manufacturer.

Just answered this number calling themselves cover services. Saying you have a policy with them for all white goods ( I haven’t) paying £169 a year and if I pay now with a card over the phone can get it for £99. Hung up on me when I challenged him
