Telemarketing SCAM Without really paying attention to the 020 London code I answered the call this morning. A pleasant well spoken English lady asked me how I was. I relpied, I'm well, thank you. I proceeded to asked, who am I speaking too? She stated that she was calling from a claims agency and my tone soon changed... 'You were in a car crash in the last 2 years, is that correct?' SCAM Had these people phone me up on another number pretending to be the national crime agency, using an automated message. When rumbled and blocked they tried again using this number to pretend to be an insurance broker, again using the same tactics with an automated message which made it obvious that it was the same people. Do not trust, just block them.
SCAM / SPAM Someone pretending to be from HMRC saying them at there was a fraudulent claim made in my name and to press 1 to speak to an operator. Told me if I didn’t connect to an operator then a warrant would be issued for my arrest.

told me I had won a prize then went on to ask for personal details. I was waiting for call from local doctors clinic which has 0845 number, so was the only reason I answered. Number now blocked.

Keeps calling my wife to give debt advice not sure what debts they think they are, calls late evening.
Repeated calls from this recorded message telling me to ugently claim my refund (for what?) and asking me to select an option. Incredibly annoying spam likely to cost me a lot of money if I make any selection. Watching my phone bill closely to be sure they are not charging me already. How do I block this number?

Got a cold call from this number. The caller had a Welsh accent and said he was calling from the company Insure For Less. He wanted to discuss home insurance with me, but I said I wasn t interested and asked to be taken off their call list. What do you know, they called again the next day as though I would change my mind. Very annoying!

Supposedly Kevin from the Bank of Scotland saying someone was trying to access my account.
Repeated calls over a period of a month. Then switched to UNKNOWN number and continued to call. Each caller was direct and rather nasty. When I called them up on the fact they got rather hostile and continued to call.
